Sentiments of Here explores the affective potential of the Midwestern landscape—its languor, flatness, texture, and drawl. This exhibition is an ode to resonant spaces that are imbued with sensations of nostalgia, longing, and mood. Banal scenes become sites of consideration, which elevate fleeting moments of the everyday to loaded sentimental encounters. It is the generosity of slowness that rewards contemplation with subtle sensory experiences derived from the ordinary, specific to here.

The exhibition includes works by Snow Yu, Mark Albain, and Intermedio. It was curated by Curatorial Residenct Sso-Rha Kang.
